Do you need support, but can’t make it to an in-person appointment? Are you a busy stay-at-home or working parent, and don’t have the time to drive across town for an appointment?
Do you live in a more rural area, or maybe you prefer to just do things Virtually?
If so, we can help you through telehealth therapy, also called online counseling, virtual therapy, telemental health and telemedicine.
Telehealth allows us to provide counseling and therapy to our clients via live video conferencing and the same confidential rules apply. This can be done anywhere you have a computer or smartphone and internet/wifi connection.
Telehealth appointments can be very beneficial if getting to a traditional in-person appointment is not convenient, or you simply want to connect with a therapist online. Our telehealth solution allows you to schedule an appointment directly online and have the entire therapy session take place digitally.
A few tips to make Telehealth even better.

Make sure to be on time.

Turn off all notifications, alarms and electronic distractions.

Ensure that you have privacy during the session and distraction free.

Try to connect 5 to 10 minutes before session to prevent any connection challenges.

Have only one browser open if using your computer. Close any unused apps on your phone/tablet.

Have earbuds or headphones handy, charged and ready to use.
- Make sure that you are not driving, sessions will be considered a late cancellation.

If the quality of video becomes a challenge, you can stop video but continue with audio

Sessions are the same duration and fee as an in-office session
